Your adventure starts here. Experience all the thrills at Woodrow, with our vast array of outdoor activities that are led by our fully qualified instructor team. We also have plenty of ideas to keep visitors entertained at quieter times of the day.

High up, low down, indoor, outdoor, in teams or striking out on your own: our activities cover it all.

Low Ropes

Low Ropes

Lower down but as fiendishly tricky as our high ropes course! Our low ropes activity calls for teamwork, trust and communication skills.

Jacob’s Ladder

Jacob’s Ladder

Form a team and safely navigate your way up our giant log ladder. The best teams will communicate well, decide on the best course of action together and support each other to overcome any fears!

Challenge Course

Challenge Course

Creative thinking and teamwork are needed to get through our underground tunnels, over a high cargo net and across the traverse wall. Our instructors will help to assess your group and decide what elements are safe for you to use.

Nightline

Nightline

Step outside your comfort zone and put your trust in your peers. Blindfolded group members have to negotiate an obstacle course with just a rope and their teammates for guidance.

Archery

Archery

An Archery GB qualified instructor will lead this session, helping you to set personal goals and improve your Robin Hood skills.

Orienteering

Orienteering

Learn how to read a map, then as a group work together to track down the markers. Using your team-work, communication and independence, alongside a new skill.

Pioneering

Pioneering

Pioneers work in small teams to build a catapult, bridge or tower using poles, ropes and a bit of ingenuity! All the knots and techniques you need are covered at the start of the session.

Bushcraft

Bushcraft

Learn to forage with this introduction to basic survival techniques, including plant recognition, water collection methods and fire-building.

Shelter Building

Shelter Building

Work with your team to build a natural shelter, with an emphasis on protecting the natural environment.

Team Building Exercises

Team Building Exercises

Our problem-solving exercises can be adapted to suit each group and provide a great opportunity to develop teamwork, co-operation and leadership skills.

Swimming

Swimming

Our indoor heated pool and lifeguard can be booked for a swim session, subject to availability. Instructors can then lead structured games and races, or supervise a free swim.

Campfire

Campfire

Sing songs, play games, tell jokes and, if you’re feeling brave, hear a ghost story – with marshmallows and hot chocolate!
