Why we do what we do.
We know that children and young people visiting Woodrow gain skills that last forever, and leave with friendships that will stand the test of time. Find out more below about the huge benefits children and young people take home with them after a residential or day visit experience with us.
We kindly ask all our visitors to complete a short survey about their experience – what did they like, what challenged them the most, what could we do better? This helps us to continually learn and grow. Older guests complete our “Life Effectives Questionnaire” including self-reflective statements, this helps us to better understand the impact of our work on the lives of the young people who stay with us.
Each and every experience is unique and for some of the young people that say with us it’s the first time they have ever stayed away from home. For some, it’s their first time outside of London and for others it’s the first time they have ever left their borough.
We take all feedback on board, so if you have any suggestions on how we could improve our offer in order to continue supporting young people to be the best they can be, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
