Outdoor activity day trips to Woodrow High House

Do you have what it takes to make the leap-of-faith? Can you climb to the top of the Jacob’s ladder? Can your team navigate the obstacle course, cargo net and tunnels to complete the challenge course? Stretch your limits and explore the great outdoors during a day visit to Woodrow High House, in Amersham Buckinghamshire. You can view the full list of our day visit activities here. Woodrow really has it all and is the perfect day trip venue for primary and secondary schools, as well as every kind of youth organisation, both large and small.

We’ll work with you to design a programme based on your desired aims and outcomes, with the needs of your pupils at the centre of everything we do. We can offer flexible timings for the day, as well as multiple day visits to the Centre. Our Offer

  • Standard Day (~9:00am – 3:00pm) includes up to three instructor-led outdoor activities.
  • Extended Day (~9:00am – 5:00pm) includes up to four instructor-led outdoor activities.

Activities

100% adventure or a mix of physical challenges, mental stimulation, and team building activities, with chance reflect on your experience at the end of the day: the choice is yours. Our most popular choice for day visits consists of a fun-packed day full of outdoor adventure activities, all led by our fully qualified team of outdoor instructors. Group Sizes

For day visits to Woodrow High House, we require a minimum group number of 15 participating children, plus staff on a 1:12 ratio to supervise (1:15 is also acceptable).

What’s included?

  • Outdoor activities led by our fully-qualified instructor team
  • A safe place to leave your belongs, in the event of wet weather we will always do out best to offer you a dry space to eat your lunch!

What to bring?

  • Small day bag
  • Packed lunch and refillable water bottle
  • Suitable outdoor clothing for the weather – layers, a waterproof jacket, suitable footwear and a change of shoes
  • Suncream (for the hot weather)
  • Sense of adventure!
