About the role
Salary: £22 (L2) - £18 (L1) per hour plus holiday pay | Hours: Fixed variable “Swim School” hours, flexible hours and seasonal contracts available
We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated, and customer focussed swimming teachers to join us. You will be working as part of a team of highly experienced teachers to develop swimming skills, technique and confidence in the water for our Swim School learners. You will lead safe, effective, meaningful and fun group and private lessons for adults and children of varying ages and abilities, including those with additional needs where relevant.
The ideal candidate has a passion for aquatics and teaching young people. You will thrive on supporting your students to achieve their swimming potential, drawing on your knowledge and experience of industry best practice, progression levels, and teaching skills that you will apply in the most effectual way. You will have a working knowledge of aquatic health and safety, as will an understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures. You must be approachable, friendly and patient, with a firm ability to build trust, encourage and motivate your pupils.
