A new world at your fingertips

Feel welcomed and looked after from the minute you arrive. Woodrow is your home away from home, with a private lounge to relax in and acres of green space to enjoy. Your young people will be able to have downtime in nature, with the added benefit of adventurous activities and hearty meals.

Residentials that build lifelong skills

Whether it’s discovering the confidence to leap from a great height or just spending all day outside with your friends, a residential trip can create an impact that will last forever. Our activities are designed to challenge your young people to develop resilience, confidence, teamwork and more.

Day trips for a taste of the outdoors

Explore the great outdoors with a day trip to Woodrow. We can design a programme to help you achieve your aims and outcomes with the needs of your young people at the centre of everything we do.

“It’s the highlight of the year for the youth club and kids really look forward to it. And for years afterwards they talk about it.”

Can I come and take a look?

Yes of course, we’d be pleased to welcome you to Woodrow! If you’re a teacher, youth leader or booking lead, please send an email to hellowoodrow@londonyouth.org and we’ll arrange a convenient time for you to visit. If you’re a parent or young person, do take a look at our virtual tour.

I want a self-led residential without outdoor activities, is Woodrow still right for me?

Absolutely. We have lots of groups stay with us who run their own programme entirely. They make good use of the indoor break-out spaces and sports hall facility. We can provide your group with projectors, screens and flip-chart stands too. If you have any specific requests, please do get in touch to discuss your requirements by emailing hellowoodrow@londonyouth.org or use the form on our Contact page and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Do I need to bring a packed lunch on my first day or for my day visit?

Yes. If staying residentially, we will provide meals commencing from your first evening until lunch on your departure day. Please ensure packed lunches are healthy and nut-free, and in a disposable bag.

I’m a group leader, what will my bedroom be like?

Group leaders share two to a room (two single beds), we do have one triple! We provide all of the bed linen, and ensure your beds are made up for you prior to your arrival. You’ll also get a small kettle, tea, coffee and hot chocolate provided in your room. Oh, and a mint on the pillow.
