Sun, Smiles & Summer Fun during our Summer Fun Day!
On Sunday 30th June, Woodrow’s Outdoor Learning and Leisure Centre came alive with laughter, music, and community spirit as over 700 guests joined us for our annual Summer Fun Day – and what a day it was!
Local businesses added a crafty touch to the day, with a brilliant selection of craft stalls, handmade goods, and delicious treats from food and drink vendors. A huge thank you to you all for coming!
Visitors enjoyed exciting extras like body zorbing and the inflatable dartboard, provided by Hamsterzorb, while Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service and the lovable Bucks Radio Bear brought smiles to many faces.
A big shout out to Hillingdon Slipstreamers who allowed our visitors to trial our cycle circuit, it was great to see it in action and being enjoyed by so many young people!
Our own outdoor activities were a huge hit, with guests challenging themselves on the high ropes, practicing precision with archery, and learning new skills in our immersive bushcraft sessions. We also welcomed many on guided tours of Woodrow’s Manor House, where visitors learned more about our heritage.
The day also featured a silent art auction and a raffle packed with generous prizes, all kindly donated by local businesses – with proceeds going toward supporting our charitable work.
As the afternoon rolled on, live music had everyone on their feet, dancing, relaxing, and soaking up the good vibes.
