Residential Trips

What Do We Offer?

At Woodrow we will work with you on a one-to-one basis to plan and deliver high quality learning programmes, each tailored to the needs of your school. Open all year round, we offer bespoke residential trips of any length in beautiful, safe and secure surroundings.

The benefits of a residential trip include:

  • Improved engagement with learning
  • Improved knowledge, skills and understanding
  • Fostering deeper relationships
  • Improved resilience, self-confidence and well-being
  • Boosted cohesion and a sense of belonging

Many of these cannot be achieved in any other educational setting which is why the work we do here at Woodrow is of such importance to the development of young people everywhere.

Woodrow offers a wide range of outdoor and indoor activities. Our experienced team challenge and stretch young people whilst maintaining a high level of safety and care, whilst having fun at the same time. You can take a look at all the activities Woodrow has to offer by downloading our “Activity List”.

How Does It Work?

We can design a progressive or single programme to embed residential visits into the curriculum planning of your school.

A progressive programme helps to build up confidence and creates a sense of security for your school. You could begin your programme with a day visit and work your way up to a one-night or two-night stay.

With the single programme we get into exactly what you want now, anything from a camping trip to a week long residential. We also provide alternative options to your classic “outdoor adventure” experience. For example, your group may wish to book a Youth Leadership Residential, or maybe your focus is on performing arts, or sports. Whatever your requirements, we’ll work with you to plan and implement a brilliant and memorable residential.
